Yumi Choi is a research intern in the Advanced Nano Micro Electronics Laboratory at the University of North Texas through the Korea WEST Program, a partnership between the U.S. Department of State and the Government of South Korea. She is participating in research training in electrical engineering with a focus on microfabrication, MEMS, biosensors, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Her interests include interdisciplinary engineering research and developing practical skills through hands-on laboratory experience. During her internship, she works closely with graduate researchers and faculty members while gaining exposure to cutting-edge research and American academic culture.
